Accessibility seeks to eliminate, or at least minimise, the barriers encountered by certain groups of users when browsing the Internet and in turn permit their access to the information. User disabilities can be physical, psychological or related with the technology they are using:

• Problems with vision, hearing or mobility
• Difficulty understanding the content
• Browsing that is not intuitive
• Slow connection
• Outdated browsers or ones that do not interpret the content well
• Lack of certain accessories (mouse, keyboard, etc.)

Compatibility with standards

All pages in which icons are included They comply with the Accessibility Guidelines or General Accessibility Design Principles established by the WAI Work Group pertaining to the W3C

Specifically, the new www.puntodis.com pages are adapted to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, Level Double-A, and the XHTML 1.0 recommendation, especially emphasising the separation between structure, presentation, content and functionality.

Visual design

Visual content has been designed according to the recommendation of the W3C on Cascading Style Sheets, Level 2 (CCS2).

If the browser or navigation device does not support style sheets, the web content continues to be totally legible, thanks to its structural frame.

Shortcut Keys

We have enabled shortcut keys to facilitate webpage navigation.

These shortcuts can be used by pressing the appropriate key combination.

1. In Internet Explorer 4.0, Netscape, Mozilla Firebird: ALT + shortcut key
2. In Internet Explorer 5 or higher: ALT + shortcut key + ENTER
3. Opera: Caps Lock + Esc
4. If using MacOS, the combination is CONTROL + shortcut key.
